One of the key moments of his participation was his presence at the opening plenary session titled “Refreshing How We Engage in FCV Settings”, dedicated to the future of development interventions in fragile and conflict-affected contexts.

On this occasion, Ambassador Olivier Noudjalbaye Dedingar closely followed the strategic discussions cochaired by Mozambique President His Excellency Daniel Chapo alonggside World Bank President Mr. Ajay Banga, whose visions emphasizes job creation, economic opportunity, human capital development, private sector engagement, and strategic partnerships as key drivers of stability and prosperity.
Ambassador Dedingar also had the honor of exchanging views with Mr. Patrick Achi, President of the National Assembly of Cote d’Ivoire. Their discussions focused on economic resilience, job creation, and inclusive development in Africa.

On the margins of the Forum, Ambassador Olivier Noudjalbaye Dedingar held a fruitful meeting with H.E. Mrs. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim.
The meeting took place during her participation in the high-level panel entitled “From Crisis to Opportunity : Unlocking Women’s Economic Potential in Fragile Settings.”
Discussions focused on the transformative role of women in peacebuilding, economic recovery, social resilience, and sustainable development across the African continent.
Both leaders underscored the importance of strengthening public policies that promote women’s economic empowerment, access to finance, leadership participation, and inclusion in decision-making processes.

Ambassador Dedingar commended Nigeria’s efforts in advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment, describing these initiatives as a source of inspiration for the African continent.

Ambassador Dedingar also held a strategic exchange with Ms. Doreen Kibuka-Musoke, Senior Operations Officer and Gender Lead within the Fragility, Conflict, and Violence (FCV) Department of the World Bank Group.
The discussions focused on the importance of gender-responsive policies, peacebuilding, inclusive development, and strengthening resilience in fragile and conflict-affected settings, particularly in Africa.
Both parties highlighted the need to reinforce partnerships between governments, international institutions, civil society, academia, and local communities to effectively address the root causes of fragility.
